  • How does the trial work?
  • The trial period gives you an opportunity to test Mercardo’s lead generation system to see how effectively it fits your requirements.  It allows you to test the qualified leads and assess their suitability.  It also lets you find the indexes that match your business needs. 

    If after the trial period you decide to enroll in our service, your first invoice from us will include any charges incurred during the trial period.  However, if you decide to leave the service altogether, we will not charge any amount.
  • What is a qualified lead?
  • The qualified leads we receive have been submitted to us by customers actively searching for services you provide.  Once we receive their enquiry, we call them and access additional information from them to make sure that customer requirements fall in the scope of your services.
  • How do I receive the leads?
  • Once a lead has been qualified for you, it will appear in your leads inbox in Mercardo Online and a notification email will be sent out (these always come from sales@mercardoonline.com, so it might be worth checking your junk mail filter to ensure you can receive them).

    Owing to the unreliable nature of email however, we recommend you login to the system every day to ensure you do not miss any opportunities.
  • What are the costs?
  • You're charged for every qualified lead that appears in your Mercardo Online inbox. Our directory services also carry a charge for each unique click through to your website from a visitor to the index.

    The charges vary across our indexes and services, reflecting the costs of generating the leads and the value of the projects produced. Please consult the confirmation email you received at the beginning of your trial for your exact costs.
  • How and when do I pay for the service?
  • We invoice all our clients electronically at the start of each month for the actions that occurred in the previous calendar month's service.

    Our accepted methods of payment are credit / debit card, or direct debit. Under certain circumstance we may also accept bank draft.  To register your payment details with us please call our main switchboard and speak to our accounts department or write to us at sales@mercardoonline.com
  • What happens if I need to leave the service?
  • We aim to be a long term solution to your marketing needs, but we recognise that unforeseen changes to your business may mean you need to come off the service one day.

    To make this simple, you are not tied into a lengthy contract. We simply require 30 days' notice. Drop an email to sales@mercardoonline.com and we'll contact you after 30 days to see if you'd still like to be removed. Please be aware that this notice period applies to every individual index.
  • Am I charged for disqualified leads?
  • Leads in your disqualified folder do not cost you anything. Mercardo makes sure that you only receive relevant and up-to-date leads. However, sometimes customers interested in a service are unreachable for some days. Mercardo places these leads in the disqualified folder and allows you to mature them. However, they are free of cost.
